Geelani hits back at Rajnath Singh

Srinagar, Sept 5 (IBNS): Hardliner Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani on Monday hit back at Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh for his comments that he hadn’t shown “insaniyat” (humanity) by not opening his doors to Indian parliamentarians.

“Showering of pellets on kids by Indian forces in #OccupiedKashmir is neither Jamhuriyat nor Insaniyat #Kashmir,” said Geelani, in a series of tweets.

Geelani tweeted: “Killing of Basit and 70 others by Indian forces in #OccupiedKashmir was neither Jamhuriyat nor Insaniyat #Kashmir.”

In a yet another tweet, Geelani said: "Musaib a teenager injured by indian forces in #OccupiedKashmir Neither Kashmiryat Nor Insaniyat, just Haywaniyat".

Earlier, Rajnath Singh took a dig at the separatists for refusing to meet with the parliamentarians who had called on him yesterday.

“If someone goes to talk and they (separatists) don’t talk, then they clearly don’t believe in ‘insaniyat, Kashmiriyat, jamuriyat’,” said Singh during  a press conference in Srinagar..
