Bihar: Youth shot dead for not giving side to gangster's son

Patna, Sept 8 (The Bihar Post/IBNS): A youth in Bihar was killed in cold blood for allegedly not giving road pass to a gangster’s son in yet incident of road rage, alarming the state administration.

Police said the Sunny Kanhai along with his friends was going to market riding a Scorpio to buy fish in Mokama areas of Patna district yesterday when they had a tiff with a gangster’s son over road pass. Subsequently, Sunny and his friends beat the gangster’s son Manjay Yadav who was riding a motorbike.

Soon after the incident, Manjay reached is home and narrated the entire incident to his family members.

In a fit of rage, six criminals riding two motorbikes rushed to the spot, caught Sunny and assaulted him mercilessly before shooting him dead.

“We have identified the gang involved in the crime and are conducting raids to nab the absconding criminals,” Patna’s senior superintendent of police Manu Maharaj told the media today.

In May this year, Rockey Yadav, son of a ruling party lawmaker Manorama Devi, had shot dead a teenagter Aditya Sachdeva for overtaking his car in Gaya district, sparking wide protests.

Right now, Rocky is in jail as the state government has put his case on speedy trial. His father Bindi Yadav, a notorious gangster, too is in jail while his mother Manorma Devi is out on bail.
