No one will be allowed to cast an evil eye on Pakistan: Sharif

Islamabad, Sept 30 (IBNS):As India announced it carried out surgical strikes crossing the Line of Control (LoC) into Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif has warned India by saying that 'no one will be allowed to cast an evil eye' on his nation.

“No one will be allowed to cast an evil eye on Pakistan,” Sharif was quoted as saying by The Express Tribune.

“The nation is standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the valiant armed forces to defend the motherland,” he said.

The relationship between two neighbouring nations has deteriorated since the Uri attacks in India on Sept 18 which left 18 Indian jawans martyred.

Amid mass anger in India over the Uri attack in Kashmir, India on Wednesday past midnight carried out surgical strikes crossing the Line of Control (LoC) into Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, targeting terrorist launchpads working from within the neighbouring country, the army said.

The strikes were launched by the Indian Army at the KG sector of Poonch district. Two Pakistani soldiers were reportedly killed. Pakistan denied that there were surgicalattacks calling India's claims as "fabrication of truth" but Pak PM Nawak Sharif warned India against any aggression.
