New Delhi, Oct 3 (IBNS): In one of the rare instances, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday extended his support to Prime minister Narendra Modi over the surgical strikes carried out the Indian army and urged his to prove that Pakistan is lying on this matter by revealing proofs of the attack on terrorists' launch pads on Pok.

In a new video message, Kejriwal said: "Our soldiers have revenged the Uri attack with much valour by conducting the surgical strikes in PoK. I may have hundred differences with the Prime Minister but I salute him on his approach to counter terrorism."

Kejriwal slammed Pakistan for denying the surgical strike by india on global platform.

"Since the surgical strikes were conducted, Pakistan has started indulging in dirty politics. They are taking international reporters to border areas and saying that there has been no surgical strike," said the Delhi CM.

"I am agitated by such media reports where people are raising doubts over the strikes," said he.

In his video, Kejriwal urged the Prime Minister to come out with the proofs of the attack.

"So I request the PM to reveal the truth to the world to show that Pakistan is carrying out false propaganda. I assure him that the whole country is by his side," said he.

Amid mass anger in India over the Uri Army camp attack in Kashmir, India on Wednesday past midnight carried out surgical strikes crossing the Line of Control (LoC) into Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, targeting terrorist launchpads working from within the neighbouring country, the army said.

The strikes were launched by the Indian Army at the KG sector of Poonch district. Two Pakistani soldiers were reportedly killed.

Pakistan denied that there were surgical attacks calling India's claims as "fabrication of truth".

Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif also warned India against any aggression.

According to reports, the Indian government has said that it will decide when and if to share evidence of last week's strikes. Footage and stills were recorded in part through drones, government sources have said.
