New Delhi, Oct 5 (IBNS) : Nearly 100 terrorists are waiting across the Line of Control, ready to infiltrate and launch attacks in India, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, according to NDTV reports.

Doval also presented his reports, prepared on intelligence inputs, at a meeting of  the Cabinet Committee on Security that includes the Finance,Defence and Home Ministers.

The CCS was told that Pakistani army have been protecting the terrorist launch pads since India' surgical strikes across the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir.

Last week, the army said it had carried out surgical strikes on terrorist launch pads in the Pak occupied Kashmir, causing  "significant casualties", which Pakistan, however, denied.
