President of India to visit West Bengal from October 7 to 11

New Delhi/Kolkata, Oct 6 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee will visit West Bengal from October 7 to 11, 2016, the President's Secretariat said in a release on Thursday.

On October 8, the President will inaugurate the Berhampore Military Station.

On the same day, he will also inaugurate Kamoda Kinkar Mukhopadhyay Sarani and Silver Jubilee celebrations of Dishari Club at Suri, Birbhum district.

On October 9, the President will lay the foundation stone of the first floor of the academic block of Intensive Khadi and Rural Development Centre (IKRDC) in memory of Late Suvra Mukherjee, who used to be Chairperson of the IKRDC.

He will also administer a Pledge for Nirmal Birbhum and Mission Nirmal Bangla to a mass gathering at Mirati.

The President will perform Puja in his village of Mirati as customary, the President's Secretariat announced.
