Kannur,Kerala, Oct 12 (IBNS) : Two days after the murder of a CPI(M) worker, a BJP activist was hacked to death in Kerala's Kannur on Wednesday in what is suspected to be a political vendetta, reports said.

The BJP has accused the CPI(M) of killing Remith at a village in Dharmadom, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's constituency.

Police have launched a massive manhunt in the area.

On Monday, 52-year-old CPM worker Mohanan K was attacked at his shop in a busy market place  and hacked to death by a group of assailants.

The CPI (M) has alleged that BJP workers were behind the attack.
