BRICS Day 2: Modi holds talks with Sri Lankan Prez, Bhutan PM

Benaulim, Oct 16 (IBNS): On the day two of the BRICS Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena and Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay.

Following the meeting with Sri Lankan President, Modi on Sunday posted: "Wonderful meeting with President @MaithripalaS."

He said, "Sri Lanka is one our most valued friends & we are working to deepen our ties even more."

Modi also met Bhutan PM with whom he discussed the full spectrum of India-Bhutan ties.

"Always a delight meeting you PM @tsheringtobgay. Glad to have discussed the full spectrum of India-Bhutan ties during our talks," PM Modi posted on Twitter.

The South African leaders are visiting India to attend the BRICS Summit.
