President Pranab Mukherjee meets Nepali President

Kathmandu, Nov 2 (IBNS): Visiting the neighbouring nation, Indian President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday met his Nepali counterpart President Bidya Devi Bhandari here on Wednesday.

Nepal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs tweeted: "Warm and cordial bilateral meeting between the Presidents of Nepal and India concluded in Sheetal Niwas."

Details of the meeting is not known.

Mukherjee, was received at the Tribhuvan Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Wednesday, with a ceremonial Guard of Honour, according to media reports.

The Indian President is on a three-day state visit to the Himalayan kingdom at the invitation of the President of Nepal Right Bidhya Devi Bhandari.

On Wednesday, Vice President, M. Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister, Narendra Modi met the President and bid him farewell at Rashtrapati Bhavan n New Delhi.
