Currency ban: Congress attacks Modi
"After 8th November, the scenes we are seeing outside Banks & ATMs, it seems Govt has taken decision which has caused hardships for the common people. PM says that common people are sleeping carefully & it is the rich who are worried," Congress leader Kapil Sibal said while addressing a press conference here.
"PM should really change his glasses," he said attacking Modi.
"PM is unable to understand the hardships of the common man," the former Union Home Minister said.
On Monday, PM Modi had asked the people to keep patience for 50 more days even as they are having to bear with the immediate consequences of demonetisation that has scrapped old Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 notes.
Modi had announced his decision to ban the currency notes on Nov 8.
