TCS techie among four terror suspects arrested in Tamil Nadu for targeting PM Modi
They were nabbed by a joint team of National Investigation Agency (NIA), Counter Intelligence Cell sleuths of Telangana and a CID special investigation division from hideouts in Chennai and Madurai on Monday.
The reports quoted investigators as saying that the suspects were responsible for five blasts in courts across south India.
The gang leader is Dawood Suleiman, 23, a TCS software engineer from Karimsa Pallivasal in Madurai who lived in Thiruvanmiyur in Chennai.
Investigating officers said the suspects, part of a group that called itself 'The Base Movement of al-Qaida', were former members of alUmmah, an organisation TN had banned in 1998.
