President of India’s message on the occasion of National Day of Romania

New Delhi, Dec 1 (IBNS) : President Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Romania on the occasion of their National Day (December 1, 2016).

In a message to his Romanian couinterpart  Klaus Iohannis, Mukherjee said,  “On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, I have pleasure in extending warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the people of the Republic of Romania on the occasion of your National Day."

"Our two countries have traditionally enjoyed warm and cordial ties. I am confident that our close cooperation provides an excellent basis for the further enhancement of our bilateral engagement for the mutual benefit of our two peoples," he said.

"I take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and success and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Romania," the President added.
