Mamata Banerjee pays homage to Jayalalithaa

Kolkata, Dec 6 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday paid homage to late former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa during the Sanhati Dibas" programme here.
"On behalf of @AITCofficial,I paid floral tributes on the portrait of late Jayalalithaa ji in our "Sanhati Dibas" programme today," Banerjee tweeted.
"All of us are extremely sad about the demise of the great leader Jayalalitha 2/2," she said.
Jayalalithaa passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chennai on Monday.
She was 68.
