PM Modi greets nation on Milad-un-Nabi

New Delhi, Dec 12 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted the nation on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi.

"Greetings on Milad-un-Nabi. May this occasion deepen the spirit of harmony & unity in our society & may there always be peace & prosperity," the Prime Minister's tweet read.

Milad-un-Nabi or Mawlid is observance of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.

It is celebrated on the 12th day of Islamic month Rabi' al-awwal.
