Assam: Two NDFB(S) militants nabbed, huge cache arms-ammu recovered

Guwahati, Dec 12 (IBNS): Security forces on Monday apprehended two hardcore NDFB(S) militant from Assam's Sonitpur and Kokrajhar district.

Based on intelligence input, Sonitpur district police apprehended a hardcore militant of NDFB(S) from the Northern Assam district and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition in possession from him.

The nabbed militant was identified as Sujon Mushahary alias Denim and recovered one AK-81 rifle, six magazines, 141 rounds live ammunition, one LMG magazine, one hand grenade and two radio sets.

On the other hand, Kokrajhar police nabbed another NDFB(S) militant named Tomas Narzary from Chanpur area in the BTAD district.

Security personnel recovered a rifle and one hand grenade in possession from him.
