Kashmir attack: CM Mehbooba Mufti condemns

Srinagar, Dec 17 (IBNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday condemned the killing of three army personnel in a militant attack in Pampore town of the state.

The Chief Minister said violence has never helped in the resolution of issues but only compounded human miseries.

She also expressed her sympathies with the families of slain soldiers.

Earlier in a day, militants attacked army convoy in Kadlabal area of pampore town, leaving five jawans injured, later three jawans succumbed to injuries at army hospital in Srinagar.

This is the third major attack near Pampore this year.

In earlier attacks CRPF had suffered heavy casualties.
