RSS likely to hold march-past in Kolkata on Jan 14

Kolkata, Dec 29 (IBNS): When few parts of West Bengal have been hit by communal clashes, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s ideological fountainhead Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is planning to hold a march-past in Kolkata on January 14, where organization's chief Mohan Bhagwat would be present, RSS sources said.

According to reports, Mohan Bhagwat will be here in Kolkata on Jan 14 to address a mass rally and as many as 5000 RSS activists will take part in the march-past in front of him on that day.

However, organizers claimed that as they did not get permission to host the event at Brigade Parade Ground, the venue of the programme has not been finalized so far.

Meanwhile, oppositions alleged that a secret entente between Narendra Modi and Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee was responsible for the organizational emergence of RSS in the state.

"There is no doubt that Mamata Banerjee welcomed BJP and RSS in West Bengal and RSS is developing itself faster in the state during TMC rule," CPI-M MLA Sujan Chakraborty said.
