Salman Khan arm's act case: Court to announce verdict today

Jodhpur, Jan 18 (IBNS): A Rajasthan court is likely to pronounce its verdict in a case related to killing of black bucks.

The case assumes significance as it involves Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

Khan, who is known for acting in hit Bollywood movies like 'Sultan', has been charged under the Arms Act.

The court on Jan 9 had reserved its judgement after hearing concluding arguments from both sides.

The superstar arrived in Jodhpur on Tuesday.

Salman was accused of poaching blackbucks on  Oct 1-2, 1998 at a village near Jodhpur during the shooting of  Hindi movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'. He was accompanied by few other film stars.

Two black bucks, a protected animal, were killed.

Salman was also accused of carrying arms with expired license.
