Chennai, Jan 21 (IBNS) : Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) acting president MK Stalin and party MP Kanimozhi on Saturday went for a one-day fast in support of Jallikattu as the mass demonstration against the ban on Tamil Nadu's bull taming game continued for the fourth day with thousands of people camping at the city's Marina beach.

According to reports, Stalin is also leading a crowd of party workers in staging demonstration  at the  Mambalam railway station while  Kanimozhi leads activists in Chennai’s Egmore Railway station in  support of Jallikattu.

Reports said  the ongoing stir  has also affected railway movement as two trains have been cancelled and one has been diverted to some other route.

On Friday, Stalin was detained for leading party workers in a rail blockade programme in protest against the Jallikattu ban.

At Marina beach protesters further swelled in numbers with about one lakh people from all walks of life participating in the demonstration.

Students and youths continued their agitation  demanding the lifting of ban on Jallikattu  and imposing a ban on PETA.
