EC asks Congress to hold elections for president's post by June 15

New Delhi, Jan 30 (IBNS): The Election Commission (EC) on Monday ordered the Congress party to hold elections for posts including its president by June 15, media reports said.

The EC has informed the party that no further extension will be granted.

Sonia Gandhi has served as the party's President since 1998.

In 2013, her son, Rahul Gandhi, was named Vice President.
