Lalu steps in as differences grow between two key ruling partners in Bihar

Patna, Feb 14 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): RJD president Lalu Prasad has asked his party leaders not to air their grievances against the government in public as the differences grew between the ruling allies over certain provisions in the government.

“The legislators should consult me if they have any problems,” Prasad advised his party men on Tuesday while talking to media persons.

He also suggested the party leaders to consult him before issuing any statements to the press.

The RJD legislators are angry over the way their right to make recommendations for development schemes remains “suspended” under provisions of the government’s “seven resolves”.

Under this plan, the lawmakers are no longer required to make recommendations for development schemes.

The JD-U has reacted angrily to the open criticisms of the government by the RJD legislators saying they would not tolerate such things no matter the government goes in the process.

“We will never tolerate the people criticising the government despite being part of the government,” warned JD-U spokesperson Neeraj Kumar.
