Chennai, Feb 25 (IBNS): Ousted from the AIADMK, rebel leader and former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam has predicted a topple for the present government in the coming months, reports said.

Claiming his faction to be the original AIADMK, he dismissed Sasikala's authority as party general secretary, stating that Jayalalithaa's close aide was never elected by the party general council.

"We are the original AIADMK as the party's presidium chairman E Madusudhanan as well the treasurer (Panneerselvam) are here. The general secretary chair is vacant and nobody can sit in that chair unless he or she is elected by the gener al council," he was quoted as saying by the Times of India.

He also said that he will have the access to AIADMK bank accounts soon and will start using it.

"We have written to the banks and they have said we will be allowed to do transaction. It will happen very soon," he added.

Meanwhile, J Jayalalithaa's niece Deepa Jayakumar on Friday embarked on a new journey and launched her political party

She has named the party ‘MGR Amma Deepa Peravai’.

The announcement comes on a day of Jayalalithaa’s 69th birth anniversary.

Deepa has reportedly launched the party with a motive to “revive Amma’s AIADMK”.
