Uttar Pradesh: Around 38 per cent voter turnout recorded until one pm in fifth phase

Lucknow, Feb 27 (IBNS): Moderate to brisk polling has been reported until Monday afternoon for the fifth phase of Assembly Elections in Uttar Pradesh.

In UP, 38.1 per cent voter turn out was recorded until one pm.

Polls for the fifth phase are being held across 11 districts, including five bordering Nepal.

According to media reports, campaigning has intensified for the two phase poll in Manipur and for the remaining two phases of polling in Uttar Pradesh.
