Vadodara, Mar 17 (IBNS): A gang of thirteen men abducted and raped two minor sisters in front of their father on a moving vehicle in Devgadh Baria taluka of Dahod district in Gujarat on Wednesday.

According to a media report, police have arrested five of thirteen men including the main accused, Kumat Baria.

On Wednesday morning, Kumat along with others came to the shop owned by girls' father in Bhootpagla village and dragged them to the jeep along with their father who tried to protest.

On their way, Baria first asked other men to rape 15 year-old-girl and then her younger sister who was just 13.

After one hour, both the sisters along with their father were dropped near Mandav village.

As the investigations are going on, five arrested men by the police were known to be from the locality.

A parallel plot is also traced by police that these men may have acted out of revenge as the girls' brother named Kumat in a bottle gegging case.

Devgadh Baria police sub-inspector, B G Raval said that the girls were in a shocking state of mind and could not give any statement before Thursday afternoon.

Some villagers of Mandav rescued minors and their father and taken to a hospital.

"A medical examination has been conducted and the results are awaited," Raval said.
