New Delhi, Mar 31 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday sought report on the beating incident of an Indian student in Poland.

The Indian student was attacked in Poland's Pozan city.

"I have just spoken to the Indian Ambassador in Poland and asked for a report," Swaraj tweeted.

The move came after a netizen, Amit Agnihotri, claimed that an Indian student was beaten to death in Poznan city.

Indian Ambassador in Poland Ajay Bisaria  responded to Swaraj's query and wrote: "@SushmaSwaraj @IndiaPoland Prelim enquiry suggests student attacked in Poznan tram on Wed. Thank God, he survived. Getting details."
