Kolkata, Apr 21 (IBNS): Eyeing on the formation of the federal front in the country, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that Trinamool Congress will go across the country and unite all political forces against the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha election, on Friday, according to media reports.

While addressing the organisational meet of the party, the TMC chief said: "Their (BJP) strategy is to send all political leaders to jail so that no one can challenge them in 2019 Lok Sabha election. Our strategy will be to go across the country and unite all political parties against BJP."

Banerjee accused BJP for playing communal politics and said that the religious rally with swords never happened in the state.

"They are coming out to do riot with swords. Religion makes peace. Hindu religion is tolerant. Riot and violence is not religion and are against the constitution," she added.

The state BJP unit was seen to carrying swords during the celebration of Ram Navami festival across the state, few days back.

Sharpening the attacks on BJP, she even said that the saffron the party is trying to divide people on the basis of religion, which has been actually the topic of discussion in the country, of late.

Banerjee also faced an objection to enter the Jagannath Temple by some sevaits in Puri during her three days visit to the state of Odisha, for supporting the beef eaters.

Speaking about her tolerance towards all religion, the TMC supremo said: " I am proud of my religion as well others' too. BJP is demeaning Hindu religion."

The BJP was seen to accuse the WB CM for minority appeasement to secure the vote percentage in the election.

Banerjee asked the workers of TMC units from different states who were present in the meeting, to work hard till BJP is uprooted from the power in the central government.

She even raised her voice against the Central government for using Central Bureau of Investigation to use as a political vendetta.

Referring to the TMC MP Sudip Bandopadhaya's arrest by CBI, Banerjee said: "They do not take care of the law but only muscle power.."

While TMC leaders like Bandopadhaya and Tapas Pal were arrested for an alleged connection to Rose Valley scam, the CBI filed an FIR against 12 leaders this week for accepting money which was seen in a sting operation video by Narada News.

However, Banerjee called it a political game of BJP by using CBI.

Apart from the ambition of the federal front, she hinted at expanding the party in other states like Odisha, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab.

"TMC will support all regional parties of other states and also would contest in  some places," she said.

In the recently concluded assembly poll in Manipur, TMC managed to win a single seat, though the elected MLA later joined BJP to form the government.

Banerjee made a fresh assault on the saffron party for spreading fake pictures on social networking site in her name and also for sending threat messages to one of his leader Shuvendu Adhikari.

She even accused BJP for silencing media and officers.

Amidst the full fledged attack on the Modi government, the WB CM spared only few words for the Communist Party and the Congress.

Calling CPI(M) 'shameless', Banerjee said that the communist party nurtures BJP in this state and the Congress and BJP have a great deal of understanding.
