Three Assam labourers killed in Arunachal Pradesh landslide

Guwahati, Apr 22 (IBNS): At least three persons, hailing from Assam, died and several others were injured in a massive landslide in Arunachal Pradesh’s Kurung Kumey district on Friday night.

According to the reports, the landslide took place at Palin area in Arunachal Pradesh following incessant rains in past couple of days.

The men were trapped by the mud following the landslide who engaged at a construction work near a CRPF camp and local people with the help of security personnel had recovered three bodies on Saturday morning.

The deceased persons were identified as Nurul Haque, Ilius Ali and Saifuddin Islam hailed from Lakhimpur district of Assam.
