New Delhi, Apr 27 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted Bishop Philipose Mar Chrysostom on the latter's 100th birthday.

"On the special occasion of his 100th birthday, warmest greetings to Metropolitan Emeritus, His Grace Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom," his tweet read.

"Metropolitan Emeritus, His Grace Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom has devoted himself towards service. I pray for his long & healthy life," an ensuing tweet said.

Bishop Philipose Mar Chrysostom is the longest serving Bishop in India.
