Aamby Valley property to be auctioned off if Sahara fails to meet payment deadline

New Delhi, Apr 27 (IBNS): Subrata Roy, chief of the beleaguered company Sahara, informed the Supreme Court on Thursday that his company will deposit Rs 1500 crore by June 15, this year, according to media sources.

The apex court has said that Roy will be sent to jail and the company's Aamby Valley property, valued at Rs 37,000 crore, auctioned off, if he fails to meet the submission deadline, media reported. 

He has also offered to deposit Rs 5000 crore with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) by October, this year, media reported,
