Huge cache of arms-ammunition recover along Assam-Arunachal border

Guwahati, Apr 30 (IBNS) : Security forces recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from hills area along Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border on Sunday.

According to the reports, based on intelligence input Sonitpur district police launched operation at Dipanjali hills area and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition which believe to be used by outlawed group NDFB (S).

Security personnel recovered one 303 rifle, a gun, one pistol, one hand grenade, 50 rounds live ammunition, magazine from the area.

A top police official said that suspected NDFB (S) militants had hidden the arms and ammunition at the remote area.
