PM Modi greets people on Buddha Purnima

New Delhi, May 10 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted people on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.
The Prime Minister took to Twitter to address the nation.
"Greetings on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima," PM Modi's tweet read.
Buddha Purnima, also known as Vesak, is primarily celebrated by the Buddhist community around the globe on the day of full moon in May.
It marks the birth of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.
