Union Home Secretary meets CM Mufti to discuss Kashmir situation

Srinagar, May 11 (IBNS) Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi on Thursday met Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and and discussed the current situation in the Valley.

“Chief Minister appraised Mehrishi about current situation of the valley- bank robbery, killings of police jawans and army officer and student protests were key focuses during the meeting,” an official statement issued here in Srinagar stated.

Later in a day Mehrishi will meet Governor N N Vohra, and will discuss with them the prevailing situation in the state.

He will also hold a meeting with top civil, police and army officers to review the security situation in the state.
