Kolkata, May 29 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday congratulated students for passing the ICSE and ISC examinations.

"Congratulations to all the girls and boys who were successful in the ICSE and ISC 2017. Best wishes for a bright future to all of you," the Chief Minister tweeted wishing students.

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Monday declared its ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations results on its official website, www.cisce.org.

The pass percentage of ISC class 12 results is 96.47, a slight increase from last year's  96.46. .

The results are available to students through mobile texts, besides the council’s website and CAREERS portal.

The declaration of results came as a relief to students who had been in an uncertainty following a  High Court ruling on marks moderation that was opposed by the board.
