President election on July 17, announces EC

New Delhi, June 7 (IBNS): Polling to elect the next President of India, if needed, will be held on July 17.

 

Voting will takes place on July 20.

Current President Pranab Mukherjee's term will end on July 24.

Chief Election Commissioner Nasim Zaidi  said during a press conference: "ECI is taking all necessary steps to ensure free and fair elections to the office of President of India."
