Kochi, Jun 29 (IBNS): Kerala Police have questioned popular actor Dileep and director Nadirshah regarding the abduction and alleged molestation of an actress in February, according to media reports on Thursday.

The duo were grilled by the police for over 12 hours on Wednesday and they left the Aluva Police Club only in the wee hours of Thursday, media reports said.

The actress in her complaint had stated that she was abducted on the night of Feb 19 this year while she was travelling from Thrissur to Kochi.

She alleged that she was molested and her pictures taken by the abductors who later dropped her by the roadside near the house of a film producer, according to media reports.

The actress also named Sunil Kumar or Pulsar Suni as the leader of the gang who abducted her, in her police complaint, media reported.

Suni was later arrested by the police.

According to media reports, actor Dileep got a call from one Vishnu, reportedly an accomplice of Suni, demanding a payment of Rs 1.5 lakh for not framing Dileep in the case.

Director Nadirshah had also received a similar call in March, according to media reports.
