Amid diplomatic talks, Modi's bromance with Netanyahu steals the show

Jerusalem, July 8 (IBNS): When people are talking about Indian prime minister's historic visit to Israel and the diplomacy between two nations, Narendra Modi's sharing of some light moments with his counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu demand some attention.

Modi's bromance with several leaders of the world was evident in last few years of his tenure. But the recent developments in the first visit to Israel by any Indian prime minister blown out of proportion.

The bromance between the two leaders was certainly evident in some pictures shared by the Israel prime minister on Twitter few days back. Modi was on his tour to Israel from July 4 to July 6.

On the last day of Modi's visit, Netanyahu shared a picture where both were seen to be on a beach, standing ankle deep in water. Israel PM captioned it saying: "There's nothing like going to the beach with friends!"

Now this is not the end. Netanyahu was quick to post another picture on his Twitter account that suggest both of them busy in discussing something important. In the picture, Modi was seen explaining anything important to his Israeli counterpart while the latter is listening to him patiently, keeping the hands on the pockets.

"Israel leads the 🌎 in water ♻️& desalination. We'll share our technology with India & provide clean water for millions. I'm proud of Israel!" Netanyahu said in the picture.

The caption suggests probably the two leaders were discussing something about the exchange of benefits between two countries, though not confirmed.

In a video shared by the Israeli PM, we see Netanyahu driving PM Modi to a water desalination plant where they drank water together. "I went with רה״מ MODI in special vehicle for water desalination plant capable of supplying drinking water to 22,000 people per day. Israel leads the world in water. Cooperate with India in this field" Netanyahu said.

However, PM Modi also did not forget to thank his Israeli counterpart as he shared a picture on social media which was signed by Netanyahu. The post reads, "Thank you my friend, PM @netanyahu for the signed photo, your kind words, amazing hospitality & passion towards #IndiaIsraelFriendship."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israel counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday signed seven pacts, following which the latter said that the tie between the two countries is "a marriage made in heaven."
