Passport Seva Kendra at Beadon Street to be inaugurated tomorrow

Kolkata, July 14 (IBNS): Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK), Beadon Street will be inaugurated on 15.07.2017 at Beadon Street Post Office, Kolkata – 700 006 by M.J.Akbar, The MoS for External Affairs.

The MoS will inaugurate POPSK Krishnanagar at Krishnanagar Head Post Office, M.M.Ghosh Street, Krishnanagar, Nadia – 741101 through video conferencing from POPSK Beadon Street.

The applicants intending to apply for fresh (Normal) and re-issue (Normal) only can apply. Applicants are requested to bring online Application Reference Number (ARN) sheets, two coloured passport sized photographs with white background along with other necessary documents of identity proof, address and proof of date of birth (original & Self attested Xerox copy).

The detailed information of the documents required can be obtained from the website www.passportindia.gov.in. Applicants in Normal category (Fresh/Re-issue) only will be entertained at POPSK.

"25 appointments will be entertained on 15.07.2017 at both the POPSKs and 50 appointments will be entertained at POPSK Beadon Street and 35 appointments will be entertained at POPSK Krishnanagar from 17.07.2017 onward. The applicants have to pay the passport fee through online payment system, said Shri Bibhuti Bhushan Kumar, the Regional Passport Officer, Kolkata," read a government statement.

He further added, Tatkaal, On-hold files, walk-in and PCC applications will not be accepted and processed in these POPSKs.
