DMK president M Karunanidhi admitted to Chennai hospital
Chennai, Aug 16 (IBNS): DMK chief M Karunanidhi, 94, has been admitted to Chennai's Kauvery Hospital on Wednesday, according to media reports.
The former Tamil Nadu chief minister is scheduled to undergo a minor procedure and expected to be released later in day, the media reported quoting hospital sources.
Karunanidhi, who had to be admitted several times last year, has not been attending public functions too for nearly a year. He could not travel to Delhi to cast his vote in the recent Presidential poll too, media reported.
