Sirsa, Sep 9 (IBNS): On the second day of the ongoing sanitisation and search operation of Dera Sacha Sauda, the headquarters of convicted Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, security agencies have unearthed two secret tunnels, according to media reports on Saturday.

The search agencies entered the Sirsa-based headquarters on Friday armed with digging machines, locksmiths and a team of videographers to look for the tunnels and record the same, media reports said.

While one of the secret tunnels linked Ram Rahim's private residence to the hostel of the Sadhvis or women residents, another opened nearly five km  away from the Dera premises.

"We found a window-like path leading from Dera Awas to Sadhvi Niwas. Team is investigating," NDTV quoted one of the officials as saying.

Since morning on Saturday, the security agencies have procured explosives and firecrackers from the headquarters.

The entire search operation is monitored by retired District and Sessions Judge, A K S Pawar, appointed by Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday.

A curfew has been imposed in and around Sirsa, Haryana, where the 800-acre sprawling campus of the Dera Sacha Sauda is located.

The campus came under scanner after Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was found guilty of raping two of his female followers inside the headquarters, for which he received prison sentences of 10 years each in two cases, totalling 20 years and a fine of Rs 30 lakhs (Rs 15 lakhs for each victim).
