Derailment of goods train affects traffic on Lucknow-Mathura-Bandikui route
Lucknow, Oct 4 (IBNS): Rail traffic on the Lucknow-Mathura-Bandikui route of the Indian Railways was affected on Wednesday morning following the derailment of three bogies of a goods train, according to media reports.
A few passenger trains had to be cancelled or terminated, media reported.
The Railways is working to clear the damaged bogies and repair the track, when reports last came in.
Of late, the Indian Railways has been hit by a series of accidents and derailments, raising debates about the quality of maintenance, among other things.
