Bhopal, Nov 3 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, a 19-year old girl, whose parents are in the police, was raped by four men on Tuesday in the broad daylight for three hours in Bhopal, capital city of Madhya Pradesh, media reports said.

For three hours the girl has been raped while one of the men went to have tea and gutka for fifteen minutes and again started assaulting the victim after returning.

The victim was even taken to surprise when she went to the police station as the officers had refused to receive her complaints.

One of the police officers even accused the girl of telling them a "filmy story".

Later when the officers came to know that the victim's parents are from the police, received the complaint.

While his father is a sub-inspector, the victim's mother is with the CID.

The girl travels for an hour everyday along the same route as she is preparing for the UPSC examinations.

The incident occurred on Tuesday when the girl was coming back from the tution along the tracks towards Hibibanj station. She was caught by one of the rapist-now identified as Golu Bihari Chadhar-who had grabbed the victim's hand first.

The victim's mother was quoted by the Times of India as saying: "It's one of the worst experiences of my life. If I, as a policewoman, have to face such problems in filing my daughter's gangrape complaint, I can't imagine what a common man goes through."
