Gurugram, Nov 13 (IBNS): The team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officers investigating the Pradyuman Thakur Muder case aka Ryan International Murder case has added a new twist to the tale after they accused the Gurugram police of fudging evidence, reports said.

The role of four policemen are also under scanner as the CBI team reported 'illegality and destruction of evidence' by the Gurugram police, who initially handled the case and named bus conductor Ashok Kumar as the perpetrator.

CBI had earlier stated that the knife, the murder weapon, was planted against him, while in reality it was a 16-year-old student of class 11 who had committed the murder.

CBI said that the class 11 student knew Pradyuman Thakur, the victim, as they both took piano lessons.

On pretext of helping the kid, the teenager had called him inside the toilet, where he murdered Thakur later by slitting his throat.

The investigating officers also said that the police were lenient and biased in their approach and did not question the 16-year-old properly.

The perpetrator, who confessed to committing the crime in front of his father, said that he wanted to delay the approaching exams and the parent-teacher meeting.
