I-T Department serves Rs. 30.67 cr notice to AAP
New Delhi, Nov 27 (IBNS): The Income tax Department on Monday served a Rs. 30.67 crore notice to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), reports said.
The notice has asked why the amount should not be recovered from the party.
The Income Tax department has declared all the donations of the AAP as illegal.
Reacting to the incident, AAP Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted:
In the history of India, ALL donations to a political party have been declared illegal. All these were accounted for and shown in books of accounts. This is height of political vendetta
