Hyderabad, Nov 28 (IBNS): US President Donald Trump's daughter and most trusted adviser Ivanka Trump arrived in India on Tuesday morning to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017, scheduled to take place between Nov 28 and Nov 30.

Ivanka, who came to the country with around 350 officials, will address the summit jointly with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The summit will be attended by a huge number of entrepreneurs, mostly women. The theme for the summit in 2017 is 'Women First, Prosperity for All'.

Ivanka, who is undertaking her first solo foreign visit, was asked by Modi to attend the summit when the Indian Prime Minister visited the US this year.

The US President's daughter is expected to address a session also on Wednesday.

On the occasion of Ivanka's India visit, Hyderabad has been virtually shut down with deployment of huge security personnel.

While Ivanka is expected to travel the city, Modi will host a dinner for his US counterpart's daughter at Hyderabad's Falaknuma Palace, media reports said.

Modi will also be busy in inaugurating a metro project in the city on Tuesday along with attending the summit with Ivanka.
