PM Modi inaugurates Hyderabad Metro
Hyderabad, Nov 28 (IBNS) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the Hyderabad Metro to begin the underground railway service in the city.
Telangana Chief Minister KC Rao was present on the occasion.

After the inauguration, Modi and Rao took the inaugural ride in a train. . .
The 30 km-long first phase of the metro rail project between Miyapur and Nagole envisages ferrying 17 lakh commuters each day. .

Regular service of Metro will start on Wednesday from Nagole station.
The stretch with 24 stations covers several busy clusters and city landmarks, including the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Osmania University, Secunderabad Railway Station and major commercial hubs like Begumpet and Ameerpet.
