Patna, Dec 5 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): A little Dalit girl in Bihar was allegedly raped just after she objected to stealing of radishes from her field, according to a report in the local media.

The horrible incident took place at Machiaon village in Kaimur, a south-western district, on Sunday.

As per the report, the seven-year-old girl had gone to her field on Sunday to inspect radish plantation when she found a man stealing radishes which she objected.

“In a fit of rage the accused Lalu Sharma dragged her in the nearby bushes and raped her,” according to a report in the Hindustan Times.

The police have arrested the accused and announced to speedily try the case. As per the report, the victim is enrolled in class two.

Earlier in October this year, a 14-year-old Dalit girl was raped by two youths in Saran districts of Bihar while she was going to meet nature’s call.

Again in August this year, two Dalit girls were kidnapped and allegedly gang-raped for four days by five persons in Kaimur district.

The victims were kidnapped when they had gone to the nearby forest to collect firewood.
