Ahmedabad, Dec 14 (IBNS): After campaigning hard for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Prime Minister Narendra Modi has cast his vote in the second and last phase of Gujarat poll.

The second and last phase of the poll is underway in 93 seats in north and central Gujarat.

Boasting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's powerful rhetoric, the BJP campaigned hard to stay in the power in Gujarat.

The Congress, which apparently gave a tough fight to the saffron party, has aligned with the Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) to take on the BJP in the state.

The Congress-PAAS alliance is eyeing on uproot the BJP from the power after 22 years.

The counting of the poll will take place on Dec 18.
