Four students arrested in Delhi for drug peddling
New Delhi, Dec 30 (IBNS) : Delhi police have arrested four students of reputed educational institutions allegedly for being involved in a drug peddling racket in the national capital, media reports said.
The Narcotic Control Bureau of Delhi police have also seized 1.14 kg of cannabis and three LSD blot papers.
The arrested students are from Delhi University, JNU and Amity University for their alleged involvement in a narcotics supply racket in Delhi.
The Delhi Zonal unit of the NCB identified the four, arrested under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS), as Gaurav, Aniruddh Mathur, Tenzin Phunchog and Sam Mallick.
Gaurav, a student of the Hindu college, was named as the kingpin of the racket by the NCB.
