Mamata Banerjee remembers dancing legend Kelucharan Mahapatra on birth anniversary
Kolkata, Jan 8 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday remembered dancing legend Kelucharan Mahapatra on his birth anniversary.
Banerjee posted a small tweet on her Twitter homepage to remember the icon.
She wrote: "Remembering the Odissi dancing legend, Kelucharan Mahapatra, on his birth anniversary."

Mahapatra was an Indian classical dancer, guru, and proponent of Odissi dance, who is credited for the revival of the classical dance form in the 20th century.
He passed away in Apr 7, 2004.
