Mumbai, Jan 11 (IBNS): All three owners of 1Above Pub, who were arrested in connection with the devastating Kamala Mills blaze on Dec 29, have been sent to police custody till Jan 17, media reports said.

Demanding for their custody, the police told the magistrate’s court on Thursday that they wanted to question the owners of 1Above and Mojo Bistro together.

The two of the three owners, Kripesh Sanghavi and Jigar Sanghavi, were arrested late on Wednesday. The other owner, Abhijeet Mankar, was arrested on Thursday morning.

The police has registered case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against the three men.

Earlier, the police had arrested Vishal Karya for helping Abhijeet to evade arrest.

The Mumbai police on Jan 1 arrested two managers of the restaurant.

The two arrested managers of 1Above restaurant are Kevin Bawa and Lisbon Lopez, who police said, did not discharge their duty.

The eatery was one of the three restaurants housed in the Kamala Mills complex, which gutted in the fire.

On Sunday, the owners of 1Above, which has been named by Mumbai Police in its FIR, wrote to PM Narendra Modi alleging that Mojo's Bistro - another restaurant in Kamla Mills - was responsible for the fire and requested that the case be transferred to CBI.
